cleaning & inspection
Description of Service:
Visual inspection of all electrical components (capacitors, resistors, transistors etc.), solder joints and solder traces.
Clean and lubricate all potentiometers and switches.
Blow and brush out all dust and clean circuit boards.
Clean and polish faceplate, knobs and lenses.
Oil and condition wood cabinets or condition vinyl laminate.
Service Fee: $60.00/hour
(Cleaning and inspection typically is a 1-1.5 hour job.)
Will inform customer if additional service is needed at this time.
Service, Repair & restore
Description of Service:
Visual inspection of all electrical components (capacitors, resistors, transistors etc.), solder joints and solder traces.
Clean and lubricate all potentiometers and switches.
Reflow all bad solder joints and loose components.
Test suspicious components, if bad replace after customers approval.
Check and adjust idle current, DC offset, bias etc.
Full Restoration:
Complete recap and replacement of failed or compromised components are performed with customers request or when highly recommended from my bench.
Service Fee: $60.00/hour
(Service and repair time will be determined after initial inspection and an estimate will be given)
SPEAKER SERVICES
Description of Service:
Visual inspection of all electrical components capacitors, resistors, in crossover components.
Surround replacements if needed.
Recap crossovers if needed.
Clean and repair cones and dust caps.
Oil and condition wood cabinets or condition vinyl laminate.
Service Fee: $60.00/hour
Will inform customer if additional service is needed at this time.
